CARTERET -BLUE DIVISION
Carteret uses Medwick Park in Carteret for their course.
The course begins near the soccer field side line (blue line) Cut across the field the the macadam path and follow to edge of park. Make a right and follow the edge of the park until the path is met again. Follow the macadam path to the opposite end of the park. Bear left onto a dirt path that goes into some woods. Pop out of the woods and circle around a roller hockey rink and haed for a path into more woods. To point the runners in a proper direction the trees have blue arrows on them or the ground has markers or both at times. This path ends across from an elementary school. Cross the street on to a macadam path heading toward a baseball field. Make a hard right just before the field and follow the macadam path back to an area where it “T”’s off again. Make a hard left (white line). This will send you back to the area in which you started. Once again the runners follow the macadam path back to the area that they started in. As the runners approach this area jump off the path and head along the edge of the park again. Follow along the edge all the way around this part of the park. Just past the start line bear left and keep the trees and some bushes to the runners left. At the last bush near the middle of this field make a hard left and head toward the finish line near the baseball right field foul line
