EDISON - RED DIVISION
Edison uses the county championship course at Thompson Park in Jamesburg for their home course.
The course begins In the open soccer field area. The start is marked by the first tree in a line of trees on Perrineville Road (Black Line). Runners run parallel to Perrineville Rd then make a left at the boundry line of the new Monroe HS. They run on the grass along boundry line. Runners then run along a woods line on a dirt path until they approach the dog park. They follow flags point to point running a 2nd loop inside the outer loop. As they approach the dog park a second time they turn left before the dog park and head toward a horse corral. They run between two sets of horse corrals and toward an opening in the woods. Once in the woods (Purple Line) they with travel a short distance on a road then on a gravel path toward the rear of the zoo. At the zoo they make a left and follow the fence line until they reach a road. They make a left turn on the road and up THE hill. When the road “T”’s the runners will continue up a grass hill and along side a baseball field. At a parking lot the turn left and follow Thompson Park Rd. Runners follow the road until more baseball fields become visible. Runners then follow a path to the fields. They then circle around the outside of both fields until the finish.
