South Plainfield uses Spring Lake Park in South Plainfield for their home course.
Most of the course follows a macadam path that goes throughout the park. The start begins on a path that is on the Maple Ave side of the park (Green Line). It proceeds straight over the foot bridge that crosses the lake and bears left toward Plainfield Ave. At Plainfield Ave runners make a left on the sidewalk and then another quick left back onto another macadam path. They follow the path along the lake. They continue straight across an intersecting path, past a set of restrooms and tennis courts. Shortly after the tennis courts the path forks. Runners bear right. This leads them to Mellon St where the make a quick left on to Edgar Rd. At the end of this street they make a left onto the sidewalk of Cedarbrook Ave and then a left on to a macadam path. This path will lead them back to fork where they will bear right. At this point (White Line) they will follow the path in the reverse direction that they came in all the way back around the park finishing where they started
